I recently learned of the wildfire in California. In the disaster,I am informed by my Russian friend that our friend Travis, aka stingray, lost almost everything.
I am here to request all my fellow friends here that we have got to do whatever we can to help him.
Looking forward to your kind co-operation.

Darn, missed you by an hour. I finally have access to wi-fi again, but it's limited so I'll only use it to update you guys on my current situation. Rotary stuff will have to wait until I find more stable/flexible internet. I can barely load avatars right now.
I have another thread about this already in the off-topic section. Basically, yes, my mother and I lost almost everything except what we can fit in our small truck, but we are otherwise okay. Red Cross, Lions Club, and various churches were very supportive to us victims by handing out free meals, clothes, and other goodies. We also had renters' insurance so we were able to claim quite a bit of money for the things we lost. Now we just need to find a suitable home.
I feel sorry for Nick, our landlord and friend. His insurance lapsed on everything except for the garage. At least he got a few important things out as well and has places to stay like us.
I shot video of the fire reaching town plus the aftermath. As soon as I get to better internet I'll upload to Youtube and share here.
Hey bro, I am so sorry for your loss, if you guys need a place to go, and you don't mind Las Vegas, you guys can stay with us here and get a place in my neighborhood as there are places for sale. If you stayed here though, you'd have to put up with a lazy cat and my daughter's "one million questions in as little time as possible" game. Lol. If you need anything, anything at all, let me know and if I can, I'll do it! Best wishes, Jeremy and family
