 Leela,

  I agree it looks to definitely be a mockup but it still looks an aweful lot like the SA 340 with the fenestron tail.  the tail fin is slightly different though.

That reminds me of a rant I really want to get off my chest.

How is it Czechoslovakia had SO MANY heli projects, yet only a mere handful is actually documented?

I think it has to do with keeping their projects a secret from the Soviets. I recall one of their projects having a false designation to fool them into thinking that they were working on improvements to existing Soviet designs instead of their own stuff.

The project you are thinking of was the PZL SM-5 "Jaszczurka", which bore the alternate designation Mi-2.1 for the exact purpose you stated:
