I own these three International Combat Arms magazines. They were in poor condition when I received them, I had to repair the covers. From left to right are issues from March '89, September '89, and January '89. The March issue still has the bonus poster of the USS Iowa.
I also own these two issues of Aviation Week, August 20/27 Special Double Issue, 2007 and December 1, 2008.
The last image is of my collection of Popular Science magazines. I own almost every issue ever printed after the 80's to the modern day (it's VERY difficult to track down all the ones before then).
Don't know why I keep forgetting to post these, but a while back I found this binder at my local thrift store, which contained issues of Fine Scale Modeler magazine from 1993-1995, though not all of them it seems. It was labelled as "Vol. 1".
Mostly just the local thrift store, library, and antique store here in town. It seems I've made a name for myself as the town rotorcraft nerd and retro tech collector, so most of the stuff I get for free.

Sad news: All of those Pop-Sci mags, the binder of Fine Scale Modeler, Aviation Week, Squadron/Signal mini-books, "Lore of Flight," and the Jane's encyclopedia are all gone from the fire.
Luckily I still have the Aeroplane mags, Flight, ICA, Aero Modeler, and 1983 RAF Yearbook, though. So glad I saved them.

A few days ago I struck some gold! While doing a bit of urban exploring here in Wisconsin, me and a couple of friends checked out an old, abandoned house in the woods that looked like it was rotting away in the elements and overgrown with plant vines. I got some great exterior footage of it - as well as some collapsed shacks in the back yard - with my Nikon D3200 DSLR, which I plan to use as stock footage for future film projects. We even went inside: it was remarkably clean for something in the state of ruin that it appeared to be in outside, looking as if a bit of TLC would make it habitable again. A trip to the attic was what really made my day though.
Under piles of old insulation and dust, as well as within makeshift shelving from random wood boards, were stacks of old Popular Mechanics magazines from the 40s and 50s! Unfortunately, most of them are in a state of ruin from so many years of water damage, but others are in okay condition and are mostly still readable inside. Needless to say, I rescued these relics of the past from further ruin and they are now under preservation in my personal collection.
