If we can find out when these were sketched then maybe we could determine if there is a connection or not, because they do look very similar.

 I don't see any similarity other than being a flying crane. :P

Bratukhin's designs are mostly convertiplanes and cold-cycle heavy lifters. This looks more like it competed with the Mi-10 or something like that but with ramjets. odd choice from a bureau mostly known for coaxials. The world no longer makes sense. JK

Though I suppose the design is too big for something as complex as a coaxial hub.
