Here is a mock-up of my 'Super Comanche', otherwise known 'officially' as the RAH-66X Enhanced Comanche. The first image is of the standard Comanche for comparison.
A mock-up of the 'Super Comanche' - with synthetic vision ****pit, NO TAil Rotor (NOTAR), modified T-tail section, Enhanced Fire Control Radar (EFCR) and laser gun.
Thanks for the comments. I realize that some of the technologies I'm using are still in their infancy or are not exactly combat proven, but the idea is there and one day in the near future will be entirely possible. This is just a simple mock-up that I made from a small GIF image I found on the 'net.
I have printed out a larger line drawing of the Comanche which I plan to trace over on paper and modify parts by hand. Then, when I'm happy with it I'll scan it or take a photo and upload it.
Here are some RAH-66 Comanche designs based on other rotorcraft configurations.
Top to bottom: Conventional (for comparison), NO TAil Rotor (NOTAR), Co-axial ('Comax' or 'Comaxial'), Speed Comanche (with pusher fan), Speed Comax (co-axial with pusher fan).
Sorry for starting two similar topics, I did think about adding my new designs into the 'Super Comanche' topic!
I never liked the idea of tilt-rotors on lightweight attack 'craft'. To be honest I'm not a huge fan of tilt-rotors altogether, or co-axial either. So no, I don't think it would do the Comanche justice to convert it to a radical tilt-rotor design.

Here are some Comanche camoflage/visual schemes I made (with the first one being the base image I used and plain for comparison).
Top to bottom: Plain, Composite Gray, Horizontal Lines (although in this low-res version it just looks like solid gray), U.S. Woodland camo, MultiCam, MARPAT Woodland, MARPAT Desert, Optical Camo (represented here by a purpley wavey pattern).
